Diarrhea:
Indications for: ALINIA for ORAL SUSPENSION
Diarrhea due to G. lamblia or C. parvum.
Limitations of Use:
Not effective in diarrhea due to C. parvum in HIV-infected or immunodeficiency.
Adult Dosage:
Take with food. 500mg every 12 hours for 3 days.
Children Dosage:
Take with food. Use susp. <1yr: not established. 1–3yrs: 100mg. 4–11yrs: 200mg. Both: every 12 hours for 3 days.

Hepatic or renal impairment. HIV-infected or immunodeficient. Elderly. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers.
